This work celebrates the history of rocks and geological epochs. Copper bars modeled follow the curves of the rocky layers, recalling the movements of the Earth and the formation of mountains. A tribute to the long evolution of our planet.
Rocks have a very ancient history: the layers tell us about it.
The visible stratifications on the surface of the rock were formed over millions of years: these very long periods of time are called geological epochs.
Copper bars have been carefully shaped to follow the curves of the layers and highlight them.
The wavy design of the lines reminds of the formation of mountains and tectonic movements that occurred millions of years ago.
When two plates moving collided with each other, they gave birth to a mountain.
