Ties
Ties is an installation outside the town, beyond the bridge, that celebrates the bond between copper and land. Stones wrapped in copper wire are fixed to a rock, harmonizing with moss and roots. The work exalts nature as the source of metal and life in the valley.
Ties is the first work that is found outside the country, after crossing the bridge.
This artistic installation celebrates the bond between copper and the earth.
The stones are wrapped in shining copper wires that tighten them.
The stones are then fixed to a large rock and harmonize with the surroundings.
The different parts of the work blend with other natural elements, such as moss, branches and roots, leaves and mushrooms.
Nature is the protagonist of the work: in fact, metal cannot exist without its generative force.
The work celebrates the importance of natural materials for the history and life of the valley and recognizes its origin.
