SUMMER 2025 – ITINERARIES OF ART, FAITH AND ALPINE CULTURE IN VALLE SOANA

Four summer events to visit and discover, by walking through villages and trails, the ancient churches and chapels of the Soana Valley:

Saturday, July 5, 2025 → Valprato Soana – Parish church of San Silverio and 17th-century chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate in Iornea

Saturday, July 19, 2025 → Campiglia and Chiesale – Church of Sant’Orso, dating back to 1200, and the Visitation chapel

Thursday, August 7, 2025 → Forzo, Pezzetto and Tressi – Chapels of the Immaculate Conception, San Carlo Borromeo and San Barnaba

Saturday, August 23, 2025 → Costabina – Chapel of San Rocco and Sanctuary of the Crest

The presentation of the initiative is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the municipal theatre of Ronco Canavese.

On Saturday, 06/28/2025, Arch. Alessandro Gastaldo Brac, diocesan representative of Ivrea for the Città e Cattedrali portal, will also be present. The portal was created to promote, through themed itineraries, places of historical and sacred art within the dioceses of Piedmont and the Aosta Valley. The Lo Cher en Val Soana association is collaborating with the Diocese of Ivrea to include on the portal a first itinerary that links, through the story of the first Christian evangelization of the Orco and Soana Valleys, the church of Santa Maria in Doblazio di Pont Canavese, the church of Campiglia Soana, and the Sanctuary of San Besso.
